Sandhya: Thank you :) One of my favorite pictures! :) And the name 'damselflies' is new to me too. Just found oout on wikipedia! They are of the same species as dragonflies, with some minor variations.
Sagarika: Thank you,my friend! I love these pictures too! :):) And it`s not about talent really - anyone can learn the craft. I`m still very much in the learning phase - I keep reading a lot about composition/lighting etc etc. All you need is a good teacher, that`s all :) We still call it 'phoring' btw :):)
Jira: It`s difficult to take these shots because they simply fly away! But thankfully I have a zoom lens which really helps! :):)
Reflections: You cannot see the errors because I`ve made them into a collage :) Otherwise, if I see the pictures in their original resolution, the head of the fly is actually out of focus in one! :):) But I`m learning slowly :):)
Swaram: Top right?? If you see carefully (on an enlarged view),the head is out of focus! :):)
P&A: :):) Thank you! Yes, these come in a diverse colors and they look so beautiful!
Deeps: Thank you so much, my friend! :)
GNSD: Scared? Hey, these are tiny little dragonflies! :):) I remember catching them in discarded glass jars, when I was a kid! :):) It is a little tricky to capture them on camera because they tend to flit around! The trick, my dear, is to use a zoom lens :):)
