For a very long time, I have been a mute spectator to the horror that continues to unfold in front of us. But I realized that keeping quiet about it probably gives encouragement to the defaulters.
So here it is today - a petition to the President of India.
Do go over it and please,please sign it.
I dont know if it`s going to be of any help. But that uncertainty cannot prevent us from NOT voicing our opinions and dissent.
Staying so far away from home, this is the least we can do.

I will happily sign the petition because I abhor and detest the self titled moral police. I as a believer am ashamed at these acts and by these people who do no accept or understand my faith and mailgn it.
I also have my two cents on what and how we define Liberty/Freedom call it what u may and will be writing about it in my blog as coherently as possible. ( My brain is a muddy puddle..too many randome thoughts)

The violent acts by these moral policmen actually reflects the pervertion of thier own minds as well the ignorance about the true Indian culture.
Want to educate these perverts about the true ancient Indian cultur take them to the ancient heritage sites at Konark, Khajurao, or even Jagan Nath Puri and tell them to have a look at the stone idols embelishing the walls there.

Monika: yup, I know. I`m beginning to get a lil disheartened myself. Esp since the President herself is one of the same league we`re fighting against. But then again, when I think of it - I cant attend the protest at Delhi(am here in the US) and I`m not sure sending pink undies will really do the trick, though I am pretty excited about the campaign. So If I want to do my bit, this seems to be the only option. I have done my homework and will ensure that the petition reaches the proper authorities. I can do my bit. That`s the point really. We cant just sit quiet, expecting others to bring about change, can we? :)
